Fabulous service After much research we contacted Terry at Taw Windows for a quote. On meeting him, we knew that we wanted Taw Windows to install our new windows and doors. We found Terry to be genuine, honest and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and explained the process thoroughly. We were offered a wide choice of colours and styles. When the installers arrived on the agreed day, Luke and Rob were great; clearly with a lot of experience. They made a fantastic job of installing 9 windows, 2 doors, facia boards, soffits and guttering. They cleared up at the end of each day and were extremely polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole house was completed quickly, with minimal disruption and to a very high standard. We would not hesitate in recommending Taw Windows to anyone considering having new window or doors installed.

Terry and the team did a fantastic job putting new windows into our old house, the cutting in and make good was excellent. Terry also took time out help with a door handle problem and found a great solution. Always professional and prompt. Quick to quote and deliver a great solution. Taw windows originally replaced all the older windows and front door of our house shortly after we moved in. The installers did a terrific job just needed to be supplied with Tea, they were very tidy removing all the old windows from site. Recently we asked then to return to install a single window in a garage conversion, at short notice, and they installed ahead of the anticipated schedule. Highly recommend them.

We moved into the area in 2007. Terrys team installed new windows all around the house and new front and back doors. Four of the windows are “sash” types to remain in keeping with the previous appearance. My message is – Reasonable price, Great service, excellent staff, and we are still very happy 14 years on. What else do you need to know?

It’s not everyday you have to buy windows and doors and if you’re not sure what you’re looking for, it’s reassuring to have a company that talks you through it, giving you options and suggestions. There was no pressure selling, just good honest advice. The installation was brilliant too. The guys were polite, helpful and did a tidy job. We couldn’t ask for anything more. I’ve been highly impressed by Taw Windows. I received a prompt first visit, a sensible quote and a quick turnaround from beginning to end (less than two weeks). The installation was efficient clean and tidy and did not leave us in the cold for more than a few minutes. The installers took care to protect my carpets and cleared away after the work was done. I’m very happy with my new windows and door which are exactly as I’d requested.

I needed a new front door as the old one only had a tiny glass window. I was given a brochure with loads of choices and I was especially impressed by the fact that they said I could save money by just changing the door panel. They were really helpful, they fitted my new door panel quickly and cleared up afterwards. It has transformed my dark hallway into a lovely bright area!

Fantastic company First class company that’s provides a first class service. After thinking I needed all my windows replaced it turned out that I only need half of them replacing and the rest could be repaired – saving me a small fortune. Terry, Rob & Luke are a very professional team, no hidden cost, and work was completed to a very high standard and on time, it was a pleasure to deal with such a lovely team. Beautiful new windows We are more than pleased with our new windows. We were reluctant to replace the original bay sash windows in our Victorian terrace but they really had come to the end of their useful life. However the new sash windows that Terry and his team have fitted are brilliant and blend in with the old building really well. Terry and his team were reliable efficient and friendly. Communication was excellent throughout. Terry came to measure and price up at the appointed time and the team came to fit on the date that had been quoted. Highly recommended Being new to the area we looked at companies with good reviews to replace old & install new windows and door at our house. We chose Taw and were not disappointed. Terry was really accommodating in organising dates to fit in with our building work. The guys who came to do the work were friendly but professional. They fitted 2 French doors for me which they completed in the day, 1 in the lounge in temperatures of -5 and left the property clean and tidy.

We came back for a second helping Terry and his tape didn’t provide the cheapest quote to replace our conservatory roof, nor did he provide the dearest. We’d had reports about other companies and we know of the quality of the work done by TAW Windows . Terry rang us before the job was due to start to tell us about a new polycarbonate sheeting and gave us the option of using that rather than what we had already selected. It wasn’t that much more, but seemed to be a ‘no brainer’. The job was done exactly on time and it has transformed the room. A leaking roof fitted with blown double glazed glass units which needed blinds fitted was swapped to heat retaining/reflecting poly carbonate sheeting and no blinds. Safety was paramount for the lads during the job, they look out for each other…. “watch out for those twigs”, “what twigs?”, “oh no, it’s your arms”. LAUGHTER! In short, a happy work force is a good workforce and that reflects in the end job. Once again, very highly recommended.

Window Installation We first used Terry and his team in 2015 when we bought our 1950s bungalow, all the windows and front door needed upgrading to modern ones. They did a fantastic job, were professional, great price and always on time. Three New Doors From the start Terry advised us what type of doors we would need as our front door required a sidelight. He explained that what we were asking would have resulted in additional cost and would look out of proportion. He provided expert advice and a drawing that reduced costs and looked great. Robert the fitter ( loved his coffee) was first class very tidy and did an excellent job.I would have no hesitation in recommending Taw Windows.

Excellent, Friendly & Professional This is the second time I have used Taw Windows. I had upvc windows fitted in my previous house which I was very pleased with.

Casement window installation & replacement We have a cottage that is of stone construction and over 150 years old. The powder coated aluminium windows we requested were black frames with white sashes. This kept the proportions we wanted and the existing frames were removed and the four new areas were installed and rooms swept. They arrived at 9.30 and had done everything and left left before we came back at 3.30pm !!! Immaculate and very happy in all respects. Any snags that happened in the early design stages were professionally handled and sorted – a measure of the firm and its owner. Well done Terry you are a star. We will be using you again.

Highly recommended We recently had 2 bay windows replaced and some cladding added and we couldn’t be happier. Terry sent us a very well priced quote within 24 hours and we were all set to go until the lockdown occurred.
